    Preheat oven to 425 ° F

    Heat olive oil in a large pot over a medium heat. Add garlic and onion and sauteé for about 2 minutes, or until onions are transparent

    Add ground turkey and using a spoon break turkey into pieces

    Add spinach and allow to cool 2 minutes, until spinach has wilted

    Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and salt & pepper to taste and allow to warm through, about 3 minutes

    Place the pepper halves in a foil-lined baking dish and spoon turkey mixture into each pepper half, filling as much as possible

    Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.

    Sprinkle each pepper with a tablespoon of shredded cheese
